Course Description
iJam Music Production is a creative music production course developed by Mr. Chiu Tsang Hei, an all-rounded and multi-talented famous music producer and composer in Hong Kong. He is also one of the most celebrated names in music and entertainment industry.
The course is designed to inspire students from Secondary schools to make music creatively. With the use of iPad and specific software, students will be able to create some cool tunes and concepts in digital music making.
Course Outline
- Learning basic concepts in music production
- Producing music through listening
- Familiarizing the creative tools in Garageband
- Acquiring fundamental skills in digital music production
- Deepen knowledge in music production
- Onsite tour in professional studio
- Group projects with individual guidance
- Re-arranging or rewrite a song in own preference
- Performing in class and assessment
